What is My Western Email?
The purpose of this activity is to analyze the survival of classical Mythology in current Western culture from the examination of examples taken from Psychology, Music, Archaeology, Art, Cinema and Literature.

Keep in mind that the certificates are made with the data provided in your registration application, make sure they are correct and complete.
– Name, capitalize the first letter and lowercase the rest.
– Surnames, both and the same as in the previous case, with the first letter capitalized and the rest lowercase. And in both cases with the corresponding tildes.
– NIF, number and letter (capital letter) eg. 12345678H
REQUESTS FOR REFUND OF THE REGISTRATION AMOUNT by the interested party must be notified in writing (email) up to 3 BUSINESS days (72 hours) before the start of the activity . In any case, they must always be accredited by means of proof of the supervening circumstance that prevents their realization even in online mode.
After this period, the registration fee will only be returned in the event of an illness, and it is necessary for the student to provide supporting documentation of such circumstances.
In addition, once the course has started, the enrollment refund will not be entitled under any circumstances and in any case.
CANCELLATION OF THE COURSE:
UNED Cantabria reserves the right to cancel the course if a minimum number of registrations is not reached, in which case the amount paid for Registration will be refunded (transfer or similar expenses not included).
INFORMATION OF INTEREST:
- During the development of the activity, the Center’s staff may take photographs or videos that will be used expressly for the dissemination of the same through the different communication channels of the Center, avoiding the direct identification of the people that appear in them.
– UNED Cantabria reserves the right to admit to the classroom in which the course is taught only those who enroll to attend in “face-to-face mode” to guarantee safe attendance at their facilities, proceeding, if applicable, to take timely action to resolve the situation.
IMPORTANT: in case of confinement, worsening of the situation or that the health authorities so advise, the course will be taught only ONLINE.

MethodologyThe speakers will make an oral presentation, supported by technical means, of the contents that appear in the course program.

Evaluation systemFACE-TO-FACE MODALITY.
To obtain the corresponding certificate, 85% of the sessions must be attended. To this end, an attendance control system has been established at the entrance to the classroom in which the course is taught, through a sign-in sheet, so that each person enrolled can record their attendance on a daily basis, something that will be their own responsibility. The student must personally ensure that they register their attendance at the activity.
ONLINE MODALITY (DIRECT OR DELAYED) or those who are absent from a face-to-face session: a brief activity consisting of passing a self-correcting test with 10 questions will be proposed, which will be provided once the activity is finished and can be carried out until 30 June 2022. It will be considered as “Not delivered” if it is sent outside of this period. IMPORTANT
- Once the term for sending the evaluation task has ended, those who are entitled to a CERTIFICATE* ( provided that they have previously formalized their registration in accordance with the registration conditions):
- They will receive an email notice to the email address with which they have registered when the certificate is available, throughout the month of July 2022, and they will be able to download it by accessing through “My space”, authenticating themselves at the link: https://extension.uned.es/logout
(*) Regulation of University Extension activities organized by the National University of Distance Education. Article 29. (…) 2. The achievement certificate will be awarded to those who have attended at least 85% of the activity sessions and pass, if required, the evaluation of the knowledge imparted. Those responsible for the activity must guarantee the control of attendance and use by the participants .
